Former Chairman of Vickery Holman, Nick has over 40 years’ experience advising both public and private sector clients throughout the South West. Starting his career in Plymouth in the early 1970’s he opened the firm’s new office in Truro in the 1980’s before moving back to Plymouth where he co-founded Vickery Holman in 1990.

Nick advises on specialist and non-standard valuations. He acts regularly as an expert witness including giving oral evidence in court. He is particularly recognised in the market for his roles in landlord and tenant and dispute resolution. Nick has been selected for inclusion on the Arbitration and Independent Expert Panels operated by the President of the RICS since 2009.

His specialist areas include commercial property, development land, leisure, healthcare, education, leasehold enfranchisement and professional negligence.

Past Governor and Chair of Governors, City College Plymouth; Chairman of Yelverton Golf Club; Chair of Trustees of Routeways Centre Ltd; Director of Havencare Homes and Support Ltd; Director of the OPM Club Ltd; and member of the Finance and Audit Committee at Exeter Cathedral.
