Commercial Property South West

Vickery Holman was formed in 1990 by Nick Holman, John Vickery and Greg Oldrieve. The company became a limited entity with employee shareholders a couple of years later. John has subsequently retired from the profession and, for many years, Nick and Greg were the managing director and chairman of the company. In 2010, the pair stepped back and left remaining directors Mark Pellow, Mike Oldrieve and Dennis Venn to manage the company, bolstered by the appointments of directors Justin Armstrong and Alan Treloar.

The Board has continued to evolve, with Mark Pellow, Dennis Venn and Justin Armstrong remaining as directors. Robert Beale became Managing Director in 2024, taking over from Mark, who is now Chairman. Kate Gordon joined the Board in 2024 as Operations Director, followed by Rebecca Cook in January 2025 and Jane Falkner in July 2026. Alan Treloar stepped down as a director on the same date but remains with the company as Senior Agent for Cornwall.

Through various mergers and acquisitions, the roots of Vickery Holman can be traced back as far as 1848. Today, the consultancy has more than 70 people working in four offices, strategically placed across the South West. Vickery Holman is a limited company, owned by its employees, and is a member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
