I am now approaching 6 months at Vickery Holman after joining the Truro office in September 2019. I have been made to feel very welcome by everyone in VH, not just by my local office but companywide. It’s been great to be able work with such knowledgeable people who are willing to pass on their experience and expertise within the industry.
I came to Vickery Holman after studying BSc Real Estate at the University of The West of England in Bristol, graduating in July 2019. In December 2018 I undertook a week’s work experience in the Truro office, where I was given an insight into the company’s operations. I found this experience invaluable as I progressed through my final term of university. VH have been great in facilitating additional learning opportunities throughout the APC process, with my counsellor providing support and knowledge on a regular basis. With this in mind I am looking forward to continuing working towards becoming chartered over the coming years.
My day to day work currently consists of working within the development services and valuation team, looking at a variety of both residential and commercial properties across Cornwall. I am also involved in some long-term projects that I look forward to seeing through as I gain experience.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Vickery Holman so far and look forward to continuing my career within such an expansive and forward-thinking company.
