Robert joined the company as a graduate under the mentorship of Nick Holman, company founding partner, and over the past two decades has worked across the South West in each of our four offices. His career has seen him take on a variety of roles including Head of Valuation and General Practice Surveying, before joining the Board in 2016. In January 2025, he proudly stepped into his current role as Managing Director.
Despite the demands of leading the business, Robert has always remained true to his professional surveying roots. With more than 25 years’ experience in valuations, he still relishes reporting on the region’s more unusual properties, from redundant church buildings to private islands. Leisure property has always been a particular passion, and he continues to provide trusted advice to both long-established clients and exciting new ventures within the sector.
Outside of work, Robert can usually be found following the cricket and is a lifelong supporter of Somerset County Cricket Club and the England team.
