Kirsty is a Fellow of the RICS and Head of Building Surveying Litigation. Her instructions include Expert Witness appointments, building and boundary disputes, dilapidations, and access, crane, and scaffold licences. Kirsty has worked for Vickery Holman for 12 years, having started as a project management assistant in early 2014, progressing to Associate in 2024.
As a Fellow of the Pyramus & Thisbe Society – a learned society promoting excellency in matters pertaining to the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 – Kirsty undertakes statutory appointments as a party wall surveyor for both Building Owners and Adjoining Owners. She also provides advice to architects and developers on how best to use the Act to make the most of new builds, renovations, and extensions.
Part of Vickery Holman’s Dispute Resolution Services team, Kirsty works closely with Jane Falkner, Head of Dispute Resolution, to cover Cornwall and Plymouth.
Kirsty is a keen runner and part-time gym-avoider, which compliments her love of ale, wine, and food!
Building Surveying Litigation covers neighbourly matters such as disputes, trespass and nuisance, licences, the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, and the Access to Neighbouring Land Act 1992, as well as Expert Witness instructions covering a wide range of building matters.
