Overview
Vickery Holman is pleased to confirm that it is working in partnership through the LABC Partner Authority Scheme (PAS) via Cornwall Council.
What is the LABC Partner Authority Scheme (PAS)?
The scheme is designed to support businesses and advisers operating across multiple locations by establishing a working relationship with a preferred local authority for advice and plan appraisal, while site inspections continue to be carried out by the local authority in the area where each project is located.
What this means for our clients
For our clients, this means access to a more streamlined building control process. The scheme provides a consistent point of contact for design advice and plan checking, helping to ensure a more uniform approach to the interpretation of the Building Regulations, along with reduced admin and improved efficiency, all while retaining the benefit of local site knowledge.
Benefits highlighted by LABC
LABC highlights that the scheme can help simplify and speed up the building process, support early resolution of issues during design development and reduce the risk of costly corrections later in the construction phase.
Our approach
Participation in the scheme supports Vickery Holman’s commitment to delivering informed, practical and joined-up advice for clients involved in development and construction projects. It is another way in which we seek to provide clarity, consistency and value throughout the project lifecycle.
