The South West tourism sector is very important to our economy and Vickery Holman are heavily involved in the Leisure and hospitality market. We provide asset valuations, assist with purchases, acquisitions and sales, help with rent reviews and renewals, business rates and of course with development opportunities. For that reason, we have supported the South West Tourism Awards for many years now, sponsoring individual categories in Cornwall, Devon and Bristol.

Vickery Holman were represented by Paul Matthews and Ollie Steer-Fowler at the annual South West Tourism Awards on Thursday night held at the spectacular Aerospace in Filton, Bristol. Over 400 award winners and sponsors gathered to listen to speeches and dine underneath one of the last remaining Concorde Aircraft to celebrate the achievements of the finest that the South West Tourism industry has to offer – A great night was had by all!

Vickery Holman were proud to sponsor the Large Hotel of the Year category, which was won by the Bovey Castle Hotel on Dartmoor National Park, with the No.15 Great Pulteney in Bath winning Silver and the Christchurch Harbour Hotel, Dorset winning Bronze. It was great to see VH clients represented at the awards night in the form of Mother Ivey’s Bay Holiday Park, Polmanter Touring Park (who won Gold in the Touring Park category), Padstow Touring Park and St Mawgan Tea Room and Garden. Very many congratulations to all the winners on the night for a fantastic year in 2018.
