I have been with Vickery Holman for 3 months now and I have settled in very well to the Bristol team. Without doubt the Bristol Office have made me feel very welcome and I am really enjoying being part of the tightknit team.
I came to Vickery Holman with just over a years’ worth of experience in retail agency in Bristol which gave me a good grounding of knowledge in the local market. I made the move to Vickery Holman as I had a keen interest in learning more about valuation and landlord and tenant matters as well as the enhanced support through my APC that Vickery Holman Could offer. I have been given some excellent guidance from my counsellor and I feel that I am on the right track to be able to continue to work towards becoming chartered.
My day to day work consists of a wide range of tasks including assisting on valuations of properties ranging from 1 bedroom flats all the way to large scale industrial units. I am also tasked with assisting on Landlord and Tenant matters such as rent reviews and lease renewals whilst taking on more of an active role within the Business Rates team.
I have really enjoyed my time at Vickery Holman so far especially that the company encourages you to attend all different kinds of events ranging from professional development and networking to formal dinners and sporting events. I am looking forward to continuing to settle into the Bristol team and am excited for what is to come!
