Building Litigation

An understanding of property law is a necessity in order to ensure appropriate action is taken at the prudent time. With 12 Building Surveyors Vickery Holman enables each to concentrate on particular areas of specialism. Specialism permits continual awareness of changes in legislation and provides a depth of knowledge unrivalled, in particular areas of expertise, within the South West.

Building Repairs

Vickery Holman offers extensive experience for the repair and maintenance of commercial properties such as cyclical repair and maintenance, external repair and redecoration, specific repair of defects and replacement of time expired elements (roof coverings etc). As well as commercial implications for this service Vickery Holman have an intimate knowledge for the provision of repairs in occupied buildings for both commercial clients, such as the Royal Mail, and educational clients, such as the Plymouth College of Further Education, Falmouth College of Art and over 30 schools within the Plymouth Diocese in addition to other state and private schools.

A full range of services are provided locally with company wide specialist support given, as required by individual instruction and circumstance.

The Building Surveyors provide a personal, and flexible service of detailed and specialist advice. The combined team strength can be utilised to target large commissions, in a short period of time and in an economic and consistent manner.

Development Services

Our specialist teams are available for advice on the development process for both residential and commercial markets. We can give advice on all aspects of Land Acquisition, including options and conditional contracts. We will also guide you through the planning process including Local Plan representations, applications and appeals.

Early stage strategic advice ranges from Discounted Cash Flow and Residual valuation, to market analysis and future performance evaluation. At the end of the development cycle we can recommend, and direct, investment disposals or provide management of completed projects.

Professional Services

Commercial property demands a wide skill base and detailed technical knowledge if owners, occupiers or investors are to optimise their use or value. Vickery Holman have experienced Chartered Surveyors in all our offices, confidently advising both the public and private sectors on a wide range of related issues such as property valuation, landlord and tenant, rating compulsory purchase and planning. In response to the detailed expertise required in complex legal matters, a number of our Chartered Surveyors are also Expert Witnesses.

Valuation

Valuation is a core function that underpins all property transactions and ownership. Vickery Holman have a dedicated team of RICS Registered Valuers in each office who provide valuation advice on a wide array of  properties for a variety of purposes.

At Envoy, we pride ourselves on providing a dedicated niche service. Whilst able to deal with a whole lot more, we have concentrated on Property Management. As part of Vickery Holman, we have access to all the expertise required but by focusing on one subject the service we provide is not diluted.
