Developments at Vickery Holman: New Associates Announcement

Significant appointments and promotions are occurring at the South West’s largest firm of commercial property consultants - Vickery Holman.

Vickery Holman have announced the promotion of two staff to Associate level, both based at their growing Exeter Office.  Alex Sproson leading the local Building Surveying team and Clare Cochrane local lead for the Commercial Agency service. Both have been with the company since joining as graduates.

Alex Sproson commented, “ We have both enjoyed the excellent early training that Vickery Holman provides across its three South West offices, qualifying as chartered surveyors , before then developing  our roles as senior fee earners.’

Clare added ‘I am delighted that the company has recognised our hard work, dedication and commitment to the future of Vickery Holman.”

The announcement comes on the back of a more optimistic commercial property sector, reflected in the recent growth of the company which now employs more people than prior to the recession.

Mark Pellow, Managing Director comments, “We see the appointment of Alex and Clare becoming Associates as the next natural step within our company’s future development and we feel that the skills that they bring forward will add a new and refreshing touch. They will also both be able to provide further drive to the on-going development of our business in Exeter.”

This is part of a continuing pattern at Vickery Holman, where there have been seen several recent appointments including Nick Corker joining as Head of Landlord Tenant, Stefan Parkin, a Truro based Property Manager, joining Envoy – Vickery Holman’s management company. In Plymouth Jane Falkner has now joined the Valuation team and the appointment of a further Building Surveyor is soon to be announced. To support Alex in his role there has been investment in new support staff in Exeter in the form of Catherine Snell.
