Last weeks government budget announcement saw a provision of £536m in funding for education and at least £200m of this money is believed to be allocated to existing schools for building refurbishment work.
£320m of the funds are for the establishment of 140 new free schools. Free schools are funded by the state, but can be set up by community groups, charities and academy trusts.
The hotly debated proposed new grammar schools are also included in the funding announcement, although the details of delivery and timelines presently remain vague.
Vickery Holman have been working in partnership with academy schools since 2011 and all other education establishments for over 20 years. Results from the most recent bid rounds submitted before Christmas are due to be announced by the end of April 2017.
